UK BUSINESS VISA

START-uP VISA

UK start-up Visa

Launch your Start-up Business in the UK

Start-up Visas are for people seeking to establish a new business in the UK for the first time. High potential entrepreneurs who have an innovative, viable, and scalable business idea can apply for this visa. To qualify for this visa, applicants must first obtain an endorsement letter from an approved endorsing body, confirming that the business is viable. The business idea may relate to any sector, provided the business idea is sufficiently innovative, viable and scalable. However, if you are looking to join an existing business, then the Start-up Visa is not an appropriate immigration route. You will be permitted to undertake employment, other than working for the business that you have established.

There is no minimum investment required for this visa.

Processing Time

You’ll usually get a decision on your visa within three weeks if you apply from outside the UK. However, the whole pre-application process will take longer because you must have a business plan that is approved by an endorsing body before applying for your visa.
